Doppel Marriage

Doppel Marriage (ドッペルマリッジ) premiered on 8 May 2025 as a Japanese-language drama series. The story centers on Rikako Morimiya, who teaches cooking classes and considers her marriage to her husband Toru a contented one. That stability is disrupted when another woman, also named Rikako, appears at the cooking school and presents a copy of Rikako's family register as her own. When Rikako confronts her husband, he claims to have no knowledge of the woman. Visiting the stranger's apartment, Rikako finds the space arranged as a near-duplicate of her own home. The series frames this escalating situation as a love-suspense narrative, leaving open whether the threat is a trap, a stalker, or something within the marriage itself.
