The Parking Spot, known in French as La place, is scheduled for release on June 16, 2026. The film is directed by Louis Godbout, who brings a background in philosophy to the project. The premise is contained: a couple and a stranger become locked in a dispute over a single parking space. When a call to the police fails to resolve the standoff, the confrontation shifts into a prolonged, largely silent psychological struggle.
