Miss Mermaid

Miss Mermaid is a French-language film scheduled for release on July 1, 2026. The story centers on Fanny, a woman in her thirties from Fécamp who emerges from a divorce with little to show for her marriage beyond a sky-blue sofa and debts she declines to pay. Resolute in her desire for independence, she finds herself living at her parents' house — until a chance encounter with Anemone, a professional mermaid passing through the region, opens a new direction. Fanny decides to pursue mermaiding herself, stepping into an unfamiliar world as a means of reclaiming her life on her own terms.
