Isle Navigator: The Buried Baby is a Taiwanese animated film scheduled for release on August 1, 2026. Produced by Chimney Animation, it forms part of the Isle Navigator anthology, a collection of animated works originating from Taiwan. The film's story centers on a mother whose memories are lost following an earthquake, and a child, buried underground, who must find a way to restore what she has forgotten. Prior to its 2026 release, the film screened as a standalone short at the 30th Fantasia International Film Festival, where it was selected for the Satoshi Kon Award competition, a prize dedicated to recognizing achievement in animation.
