The story follows Prince Arnold, who is publicly regarded as an inept royal overshadowed by his more gifted twin brother, Leonard. In secret, however, Arnold operates under the alias Silver — one of only five SS-rank magic-wielding adventurers on the continent. When the crown prince dies and a violent succession struggle begins, Arnold works from behind the scenes to place Leonard on the throne, while advancing his own interests in the process.
