Transit Times

Transit Times opens on July 2, 2026. The film is set in a courtyard dwelling in the center of Chisinau, Moldova's capital, during the 1990s. Zina, her husband Victor, and their daughter Eva share the space with other residents of the house, all of them contending with the pressures of financial survival in the post-Soviet transition period. The story draws on the lives of the family and their neighbors to portray a country remaking itself after the collapse of the Iron Curtain.
