To Grandfather's Village 2

To Grandfather's Village 2 (На деревню дедушке 2) is a Russian-language film set for release on July 16, 2026. It is a sequel to To Grandfather's Village and continues the story of Vladik, a boy who returns to spend the summer with his grandfather Yura in the countryside. The arrival of Viktor — a former diplomat and Vladik's paternal grandfather — disrupts the summer. Viktor wins over the locals, lavishes Vladik with expensive gifts, and holds the boy's attention with accounts of his travels abroad. The friction between the two grandfathers escalates from sarcastic exchanges to direct confrontation as each competes for Vladik's affection. The conflict shifts when a compromising secret from Viktor's past surfaces, giving grandfather Yura a potential advantage over his rival.
