The Lost Children of Tuam

The Lost Children of Tuam is a feature film set for release on July 7, 2026. It is based on the historical investigation carried out by amateur historian Catherine Corless, whose research led to the discovery of a mass grave of approximately 800 infants and young children on the grounds of a former Mother and Baby Home in Tuam, County Galway, Ireland. The home, which was operated by the Bon Secours Sisters, housed unmarried mothers and their children for much of the twentieth century. Corless's findings, first made public around 2014, prompted a formal Irish government inquiry and drew significant international attention to the treatment of children and women in such institutions.
