Speaking Dead

Speaking Dead, known in Korean as 스피킹 데드, is scheduled for release on July 11, 2026. The film centers on Jang Jae-wook, a former forensic scientist who arrives in a paralyzed downtown Seoul during a major terror threat, carrying a suitcase that holds a dead body rather than the explosives authorities feared. The discovery pulls a long-buried military incident back into the open, exposing a broad web of corruption tied to a deeply rooted cartel of power. As forensic evidence forces the dead to yield their secrets, the investigation moves toward a reckoning with those responsible for concealing the truth for over a decade.
