Soldier's Bones

Soldier's Bones is scheduled for release on June 25, 2026. The film centers on Alec Shimkin, a reporter who in 1971 discovers Operation Speedy Express, a covert US-led military campaign that may have involved war crimes on a large scale. Shimkin's account carries an additional layer of uncertainty: he himself went missing in action in Vietnam, leaving the fate of his scoop unresolved. The film follows in his footsteps, tracing the deadly legacy of Operation Speedy Express through the Mekong Delta.
