La Vénus électrique

La Vénus électrique is scheduled for release on May 12, 2026. The film follows Antoine, an artist who has lost his creative drive and fallen into alcoholism following the death of his wife Irène — a loss for which he holds himself responsible. Seeking contact with Irène, he consults Suzanne, a financially desperate sideshow performer who fraudulently presents herself as a clairvoyant. Antoine's art dealer, Armand, recognizing the sessions as fiction but determined to keep Antoine functional, persuades Suzanne to maintain the deception. In exchange, Armand agrees to cover her debts. Suzanne proceeds to conduct a series of improvised hypnosis sessions in which she claims to channel Irène.
