I Is Another

I Is Another, known in German as Ich ist ein Anderer, is scheduled for release on August 7, 2026. The film is a German-language historical drama produced by Ostlicht Filmproduktion.

Set in 1952, the story unfolds during a train journey to Oslo, where a journalist and her husband find themselves in a sustained confrontation with a fellow passenger who claims to have saved thousands of lives during the Second World War. As the journey continues, doubts surface about whether his account is genuine or self-serving, and the distinction between heroism and opportunism becomes increasingly difficult to draw.
