Funky Freaky Freaks

Funky Freaky Freaks, known in Korean as 충충충, is scheduled for release on June 17, 2026. The film is set in a small city where redevelopment has ground to a halt and centers on three high school friends, each defined by a consuming fixation. Yong-gi fancies himself an attention-seeker with aspirations of becoming a superhero; Ji-sook is obsessed with extreme weight loss; and Dumbo runs an online scam in which he poses as a girl to extract money from users. The group's already fragile bond is tested when Woo-joo, a transfer student with an influencer following, enters their orbit. Ji-sook becomes immediately drawn to him, while Yong-gi, who has harbored unspoken feelings for her, watches from a distance. When Woo-joo's true character is exposed and Ji-sook begins to unravel, Yong-gi's suppressed emotions push him toward a plan for revenge.
