'Ain

'Ain is an Indonesian-language horror film scheduled for theatrical release on May 7, 2026. The film follows Joy, a beauty influencer whose obsession with her appearance is rooted in a painful adolescence marked by obesity and neglect. That history has shaped her into a deeply narcissistic adult who prioritizes public admiration above all else. When her best friend Dini urges her to stop flaunting her looks out of fear that doing so will invite illness, Joy dismisses the warning. A subsequent horrific event leaves her body in a severe and disturbing condition.
