When the Bottle Turns

When the Bottle Turns (当瓶子转动时) is a Tibetan-language drama set for release on July 20, 2026. The film centers on an elderly man who, aware that his death is approaching, sets out for Nangri Monastery to consult his guru about the reincarnation of his late wife. En route, he meets a young wandering poet, and the two continue the journey together. Their contrasting perspectives on life inform one another as they travel, leading each toward a form of personal liberation. The old man does not reach his guru, but the poet remains with him through his final moments.
