The Riverbank

The Riverbank, known in Portuguese as A Margem do Rio, is a Brazilian drama produced by Gatopardo Filmes scheduled for release on August 11, 2026. Set in Recife, a city shaped by its rivers and mangrove forests, the film follows Izaquiel, a cleaner who ventures into the mangroves at night in search of clandestine encounters. His life changes when he meets Jeremias, a fisherman. The film is in Portuguese.
