Sidosa is a Spanish film directed by and starring Eduardo Casanova, set for release on April 23, 2026. The film documents what Casanova has described as the most intimate and significant revelation of his life: that he is living with HIV. According to the filmmakers, no public figure in Spain has previously made such a disclosure on this scale. HIV-focused organizations and activists have long called for a prominent figure to speak openly about living with the virus, framing such visibility as a means of reducing the social stigma that continues to surround it.
