Power Ballad

*Power Ballad*, a comedy-drama from producers Likely Story and 30WEST, with support from Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland, is scheduled for release on May 18, 2026. The film follows Rick, a wedding singer whose best years feel firmly behind him, and Danny, a boy-band veteran whose career has similarly stalled. When the two meet at one of Rick's gigs and fall into a late-night jam session, something clicks — until it doesn't. Danny takes one of Rick's original songs, releases it, and watches his career revive on the strength of someone else's work. Rick, understandably, wants credit.
