Partisan's Wife

Partisan's Wife (숨어드는 산) is a Korean-language drama film scheduled for release on August 12, 2026. Set in the summer of 2019 within an alternate timeline where a dictatorship remains in power, the film centers on two Daegu Police Counterintelligence detectives, In-hyeok and Sang-jun, who are assigned to surveil Lee Su-gyeong. Su-gyeong is the pregnant wife of Choi Myeong-hun, a man wanted for violating security laws and living in hiding. As In-hyeok develops compassion for Su-gyeong amid her hardship, the narrative takes the shape of a road movie involving all three figures while also exploring the lives of people forced to conceal themselves in the mountains to escape corrupt authority.
