Papagaios

Papagaios is scheduled for release on April 23, 2026. The film centers on Tunico, known in Rio de Janeiro as the most prominent "Pirate Parrot" — a figure who relentlessly pursues television reporters in search of on-air appearances. Following a serious accident at an amusement park, Tunico encounters Beto, a mysterious young man who becomes his apprentice. The story unfolds against the backdrop of a Brazil where more than 70 million televisions are in use daily, and traces the darker consequences of chasing fame without restraint.
