JULY

JULY, known in its original Portuguese as JULHO, is scheduled for theatrical release on July 19, 2026. The film follows Diego, an eight-year-old boy, over the course of a school vacation during which his older brother Nicco becomes increasingly distant and withdrawn. Diego, anchored to the shared rituals that once defined their relationship, cannot fully grasp the nature of Nicco's suffering. The narrative is told through Diego's perspective, framing depression and sibling bonds within the limited but emotionally acute understanding of a child.
