The film follows Joe, an eighteen-year-old whose internal reckoning with identity and sexuality places him at odds with his traditional working-class family and the labels imposed by his peer groups. As Joe pursues self-understanding, the tensions he uncovers threaten the stability of those around him — and his own life.
