Cowgirl

Cowgirl is a Catalan-language film scheduled for release on May 22, 2026. The story centers on Empar, a farmer in her sixties who depends on her cow Tona conceiving in order to keep her farm financially viable. After initial attempts fail, she turns to Bernat, who runs the largest farm in the area, for assistance. Once Tona does conceive, the situation grows more complicated when a veterinarian identifies the pregnancy as high-risk.
