A Way Out

A Way Out is a documentary produced by Good Studios, scheduled for release on July 31, 2026. The film centers on Safe House Project, a nonprofit organization working to address human trafficking in the United States, and traces the chain of events that follows when a survivor places a call for help. From that initiating moment, the film tracks the coordination that unfolds behind the scenes — rapid response logistics, survivor advocates, law enforcement, and partner organizations working in concert to move an individual from immediate danger toward safety and legal recourse. The documentary is directed by Clay Vaughan. Rather than focusing solely on the scope or horror of trafficking, the film is structured around operational clarity: how a nationwide network activates, who the people are within it, and what coordination at each step looks like in practice. The result is a portrait of an institutional response as much as a human one, grounded in the work of Safe House Project and its collaborators.
