Sea of Whales

Sea of Whales (고래의 바다) is a Korean-language documentary scheduled for release on June 20, 2026. The film is directed by Lee Jeong-joon, who has spent more than a decade documenting the lives of Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins off the coast of Jeju Island. He is known in those circles as the "Dolphin Man" for his sustained commitment to this subject. The documentary examines the relationship between human and non-human inhabitants of the sea, drawing on years of observation and ecological fieldwork.
