Roxana - A climate story is a documentary in Spanish, set for release on August 4, 2026. The film is set in Alto Mishagua, a village in the Peruvian Amazon where many indigenous communities lack reliable electricity or internet access, while large-scale fossil fuel projects expand into the surrounding region. When Roxana returns to her village during the pandemic, she finds it more isolated than before. The elders warn of tangible environmental shifts — changing rains, a transforming forest, growing uncertainty about the future. Together with other young community members, Roxana begins working toward a vision of clean, independent energy as an alternative path forward.
