Peace for Nina

Peace for Nina (Мир для Ніни) is a Ukrainian-language film scheduled for release on May 10, 2026. The film centers on Nina Branovytska, whose son Ihor Branovytskyi was among the Ukrainian soldiers who defended Donetsk Airport. In 2015, during the withdrawal from the airport, Ihor was captured by pro-Russian militants. He was subsequently tortured and executed by a militant leader while held in captivity. The film approaches these events through the perspective of his mother.
