My First Dance

My First Dance, also known by its original title Mi Primer Baile, is scheduled for release on August 21, 2026. The film centers on Oliver, a boy who dreams of joining the traditional dance at his town's patron saint festival — a rite his father performed during his lifetime. An accident forces Oliver to confront his father's absence, and his mother subsequently forbids him from taking part. Oliver dances regardless, finding in the movement both a way to keep his father's memory alive and a deeper connection to his cultural roots.
