Keep Real

Keep Real, released in Chinese as 特立独行, is scheduled for theatrical release on July 3, 2026. The film is set in a world where, thirty years prior, the Super Ying Association — led by a figure known as Superman Wang Changhai — defeated an alien threat. In the present day, Wang Changhai is assigned to return to his hometown, the town of Rheinland, to establish a new combat squad. The central tension of the film stems from the contrast between Wang's military discipline and the entrenched social customs and interpersonal obligations of a town that has known peace for decades, which repeatedly obstruct his efforts to carry out his mission.
