Jetzt?

Jetzt? is a German-language documentary that released on April 22, 2025. The film centres on a theatre project undertaken by pupils in Frankfurt, who attempt to bring the Holocaust survival testimonies of five witnesses to the stage: Alexandra Stimmer, Dora Zinger, Liesel Binzer, Aviva Goldschmidt, and Abraham Rozen. Each of these individuals was a child or teenager during the Holocaust. The project, and by extension the film, grapples with the question of how such accounts can be preserved and transmitted — and what it means to render experiences of that scale in a theatrical form.
