Ganggang

Ganggang is a Filipino-language drama set for release on August 7, 2026, produced by Cinemalaya Foundation. The story centers on Ilay and Ten-ten, two children who lose a spider-fighting match to Anton, a boy who uses his victories to assert dominance over their school. On the margins of this conflict is Mel, a city boy new to the neighborhood, who witnesses the competition and gradually becomes an ally of Ilay and Ten-ten as they contend with Anton's bullying. The film is presented in Tagalog and is a Cinemalaya Foundation production, the organization behind the Philippines' prominent independent film festival and its associated slate of productions.
