The desert between Sásabe and Nogales. It was there, in 2020, that a wall stretching along the border was erected. Due to extreme droughts and heat, this stretch is one of the most dangerous overland migration routes in the world. On the American side of the border, a group of volunteers is providing aid to thousands of migrants, supplying them with water, food, and medical assistance. Each of them has different motivations, but they are united by one thing: a refusal to stand idly by and look the other way.
