"Almost There or a Weenie" (original title: "Prawie nad morzem czyli Parówa") is a Polish-language film scheduled for release on June 1, 2026. The story centers on Lotar, a twenty-year-old living with his grandmother on the margins of his own aspirations. Lacking courage, inspiration, and self-belief, he finds that the circumstances of daily life continually erode his sense of self-worth. His primary refuge is his imagination, where he inhabits the persona of a self-assured rapper — a figure sharply at odds with who he is outside that inner world.
