After Closing

After Closing, released under the original French title Après le Close, is set for release on July 19, 2026. The film unfolds over the course of a single cold winter night inside a family-owned convenience store. Chloé, an 18-year-old clerk whose family runs the store, has arranged with her girlfriend Rosalie to stage a fake robbery and take the money from the safe. Their plan is complicated by the unannounced arrival of her uncle Marc, 47, who has not seen Chloé in two years. Marc is financially desperate and has come specifically to confront his brother David, the store's owner, hoping to extract money from him. The convergence of these two schemes inside the same closed store over the same night forms the film's central tension.
