About this release
The Villager of Level 999 (LV999の村人) is a Japanese-language anime series set to premiere on July 2, 2026. The story takes place in a world called Earthclear, where every person is born into a fixed social role. Villagers occupy the lowest tier and rarely advance beyond Level 5. The central character, Koji Kagami, is an exception: he is a villager who has reached Level 999. During a monster hunt, he encounters Alice, the daughter of the Demon King. The two find that they share a common goal — peaceful coexistence between humans and demons — and together pursue that aim in a world structured around conflict between the two groups.
