Baddegama

Baddegama (බැද්දේගම) is a Sinhala-language television series set to premiere on June 5, 2026. The series is an adaptation of Leonard Woolf's novel The Village in the Jungle, transposing its narrative of rural hardship to the screen. The story follows a father whose sacrifices to shield his family from ruin form the central dramatic thread, set within a rural landscape shaped by nature and shifting social conditions.
