2. How does the music Hype Score work?

   The Hype Score (0–100) for music releases is calculated from Wikipedia pageviews for the artist and release, plus community activity on Incoming. Major artist releases from established acts tend to score higher; breakthrough indie releases build score as their release date approaches. Updates daily.

3. What genres does Incoming cover for music?

   Incoming covers all genres tracked by MusicBrainz — pop, hip-hop, R&B, rock, electronic, classical, jazz, K-pop, Latin, and more. Use the genre filter on /music to browse by style.

4. Where does Incoming get music release data?

   Music release data comes from MusicBrainz, an open music encyclopedia with community-maintained records for albums, EPs, singles, and compilations. Cover art comes from the Cover Art Archive.

5. Does Incoming track single releases or only albums?

   Incoming primarily tracks albums and EPs as listed on MusicBrainz. Lead singles that are part of a confirmed album release may appear as associated releases. Standalone singles without a confirmed album context may not appear.
