Wakesurf Lovers

Wakesurf Lovers (浪花男女) is a Chinese-language romantic drama scheduled for release on 1 August 2026, produced by Word By Word Limited. The story centres on Man (Renci Yeung), a wakesurfing instructor whose reputation is destroyed by false rumours that spread rapidly online. Among those who amplify the story is Chuan (Jeffrey Ngai), whose satirical video mocking her goes viral. When Chuan discovers the rumours were fabricated, he enrols in Man's lessons under his real name in an effort to repair the damage he helped cause. As the two move past the circumstances of their first encounter, a romantic relationship develops. Chuan also works to expose the disgruntled student behind the original smear campaign, while pushing Man to reassert her professional standing by competing against celebrity coach Joe (Kevin Chu).
