Tuner

A movie called *Tuner*, produced by Black Bear Pictures, Elevation Pictures, and English Breakfast Productions, is scheduled for release on May 21, 2026. It is an English-language crime drama and thriller built around a premise that is, on its face, almost playfully mechanical: a piano tuner whose trained ear and fine motor precision turn out to translate — with apparently alarming facility — into the ability to crack safes. What begins as a character study of specialized, painstaking craft quietly pivots, if the setup is to be taken at its word, into something closer to a heist thriller or at least a story about a person who discovers that the skills they've cultivated in one narrow, largely invisible profession have a dangerous second application.
