Ostrich

Ostrich (鸵鸟) is scheduled for release on July 19, 2026. The film follows He Yunian, who uses a holiday as cover to travel to Beijing and meet his girlfriend Li Ran without his parents' knowledge. What begins as a long-awaited reunion becomes something more complicated as He Yunian revisits shared memories — partly to gather material for his writing — and the two find themselves confronting feelings and real-life problems they have each been avoiding. The Chinese-language drama centers on the gap between what couples say and what they withhold from one another.
