Mommy Down to the Ride

Mommy Down to the Ride, also known by its original Russian title Своя в доску, is scheduled for release on May 14, 2026. The film centers on a physics teacher whose teenage son intends to drop out of school to pursue professional skateboarding. To convince him otherwise, she strikes a bet: if she competes in a major skateboarding competition herself, he will remain enrolled. She enlists one of her lowest-performing students as her coach, learning to skate while remaining unaware of the professional and reputational risks she is taking on.
