Lady Shaka : Sonic Sands

Lady Shaka: Sonic Sands is scheduled for release on 2 August 2026. The film follows internationally recognised multi-Indigenous DJ Lady Shaka and documents how she uses music, movement, and community to turn club spaces into sites of resistance, connection, and cultural reclamation. The work centres Pacific identity, framing the dance floor as a living expression of resilience and belonging.
