Hackneyed

Hackneyed, known in Portuguese as Cediço, is scheduled for release on July 28, 2026. The film centers on two men whose brief encounter at a club — a kiss — leads them into a deeper conversation about what each of them wants from the night and from relationships in general. The Portuguese-language production explores the gap between expectation and desire in the aftermath of a spontaneous moment of connection.
