Fogaréu

Fogaréu is scheduled for release on August 13, 2026, produced by Bananeira Filmes. The film is set in Goiás, a city positioned at the intersection of colonial history and the pressures of contemporary agribusiness, and moves between realist and fantastic registers. The narrative follows Fernanda, a young woman who returns to her uncle's household after the death of her adoptive mother. Her return unsettles established certainties and draws her toward a reckoning with the painful and concealed circumstances of her birth.
