Dogs Have No Dreams

Dogs Have No Dreams, also known by its original title Кучешка борба, is a Macedonian drama produced by Hithra Films, scheduled for release on August 18, 2026. Set in a remote village, the film centers on Ilire and Besnik, two teenagers whose relationship is constrained by an old family debt that forbids their involvement. In an attempt to secure the money they need, Besnik enters his dog into illegal fighting competitions — a decision that leads to an unforeseen turn forcing Ilire to confront the collapse of the future they had imagined together.
