CONATUS

CONATUS (소영의 노력) is an upcoming Korean-language film set for release on July 22, 2026. The story centers on Soyoung, a woman with a disability who holds onto a recurring dream of performing on stage. In her imagination, she envisions herself dancing in a body without limitation, though she remains guarded toward praise from others. Her dance teacher, Heejoung, encourages her to retain each movement carefully and to pursue whatever she wishes to express. The two eventually share a performance together. In the aftermath, Soyoung returns to the rhythms of her daily life and begins documenting it through personal recordings, moving through changing seasons toward a destination of her own choosing.
