Because of you Ka Kui

Because of you Ka Kui (真的相識過) is a documentary feature film set for release on 25 June 2026. The film centers on Wong Ka Kui, the lead vocalist and creative force behind Beyond, a Canto rock band widely regarded as a defining presence in the genre's history. The documentary draws on rare concert footage, previously unseen archival materials from Ka Kui's early years, and unreleased work to construct a portrait of the musician. Rather than approaching its subject through retrospective myth-making, the film aims to present Ka Kui as he was — his character, his convictions, and the body of work he left behind. The production is in Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin).
