Press Play, the debut EP from Thai rapper and singer Lisa, is due October 23, 2026 on LLOUD and RCA Records. It has six tracks, a runtime of about 16 minutes, and a lead single that has already reached the Billboard Hot 100.
Here is what has been confirmed, and just as importantly what has not.
The Tracklist
Both Wikipedia and Complex list the same six tracks, in this order:
- "SaWaDiKa" (3:08)
- "V12" (2:50)
- "Cobra" (2:19)
- "Tarantino" (2:51)
- "Cut U Off" (2:28)
- "Sweat" (2:34)
Complex reports that the Spotify preview lists Lisa alone on all six songs, so no guest artists are named. The EP will be available as a CD, vinyl LP, digital download and on streaming, per Wikipedia, with lyrics in English and Thai.
The Singles
- "SaWaDiKa" came out on September 3. The title is the Thai greeting sawatdee ka, used as an introduction. It debuted at No. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100, according to Complex. It was produced by Thom Bridges and Ojivolta, per Wikipedia and Complex.
- "Tarantino" was announced as the second single on October 14 and arrives with the EP on October 23.
Lisa performed "SaWaDiKa" live on television at the VMAs, which we covered in our piece on her Best Pop win.
The Concept
On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Lisa said the EP follows her journey from her roots to where she is now, and that it works like a film: "you just press play," as Complex quotes her. Wikipedia describes the record as Lisa at her most personal, reflecting on her path to global fame while honoring her Thai roots.
The rollout began in August with red billboards reading "Hello สวัสดีค่ะ" in Bangkok, New York, Los Angeles and Mexico City, alongside a countdown to August 24, when she announced the EP and the lead single.
What We Do Not Know Yet
- Credits. Writing and production credits are public for "SaWaDiKa" only. Wikipedia lists them for track one and leaves tracks two to six blank.
- Who else worked on it. Complex notes that credits for the other five songs have not been released.
- Chart expectations. None of the sources we checked make a projection, and we are not making one.
Editorial Take: An EP this short, with no features, is a statement about identity more than a bid for a hit. Six tracks in sixteen minutes leaves little room to hide, and the "journey from my roots" framing means the Thai-language elements will probably decide how people read it. The honest answer to "is it good?" will have to wait until tomorrow. What the rollout shows is a careful, one-woman-at-the-center campaign, and that is a deliberate choice for an artist who spent years as part of a group.
