On opposite sides of the world, communities separated by thousands of kilometres share the same way of living with the sea. From the legendary women divers of Jeju island, the haenyeo, to professions such as net-making or the rowing of boats by women on the Basque coast, the documentary builds a sociocultural bridge between territories which may seem different, but which are in fact deeply connected by common values, pace of life and their relationship with the natural environment.
