1. What books are coming out in 2026?

   Incoming tracks upcoming book publications in 2026 and beyond, sourced from Open Library. Browse the full list at /book, filter by genre, or use the calendar at /calendar to see what's publishing each month.

2. Does Incoming cover fiction and nonfiction?

   Yes. Incoming tracks both fiction and nonfiction releases across all major genres — literary fiction, thriller, science fiction, fantasy, biography, history, self-help, science, and more. Use the genre filter on /book to browse by category.

3. How does the book Hype Score work?

   The Hype Score (0–100) for books is calculated from Wikipedia pageviews for the author and title, plus community activity on Incoming. Books from established authors with strong existing readership or significant pre-publication press tend to score higher. Updates daily.

4. Where does Incoming source book data?

   Book data — titles, authors, publication dates, genres, and cover art — comes from Open Library, a project of the Internet Archive that maintains records for millions of published works.

5. Does Incoming show where to buy books?

   Yes — for books with confirmed ISBNs, Incoming links to Amazon via the Amazon Associates program. The affiliate relationship is disclosed on each book page. Incoming does not currently link to indie bookstores or library services.

6. Does Incoming track audiobooks?

   Incoming tracks print and ebook editions as listed in Open Library. Audiobook-specific release dates are not tracked separately at this stage.
